Gondolier Pizza in Rome

Don’t normally review anyone but this place was horrible! No soft drinks & only bud light in beer, could live with that but the place was filthy! Went to the restroom and had sewage backed up! Left & will never go back! This is just being lazy, when my family is the only ones in the restaurant why not have some staff cleaning instead of seated playing on their phones and talking when your place is this bad! Should be shut down!

We love Gondola's! Great food, plentiful portions, great service! The owners are the servers and they're the nicest people! Always welcoming, super with our young grandkids which can be loud and messy, they're always welcomed there.

Best pizza ever. Service can be hit or miss if you dine in, and don't expect a quick visit, especially during busy hours. But when it comes to the food, they never disappoint.

Placed a delivery order for surf and turf, 3.5 miles away, took 1 1/2 hours ...ordered a medium rare steak and it was very well done.... just placing the order took ten minutes because i was put on hold 5 times. 😑

The service was very bad, and we never got checked on. The only time the waitress came was to take our order and to drop off the food. We were served spoiled milk. Also, the Togo boxes were very dirty. We had to get two different sets of boxes because each that were brought out had food and dust on it.

Great food. Great prices. Buy one large pizza, get one free too.

Very good food

I ordered the Penne Rigata. This was dry and not very flavorful. It was very tasteless and disgusting. If I want it again I will go to a Gondoliers and not a Gondola perferrably Cartersville. It was 16 dollars of pasta that went directly into the trash.

Great bread and brushetta is awesome. Pizza very fresh and lots of menu options. Good spot for family or a date.

Very tasty Greek & Italian themed entrees. Gyro is hand sliced in house. Ingredients are always fresh. Pizza is buy one, get one half price!!

Beware of using door dash with gondola. For delivery. Uou won't get the two pizzas. You call gondola they refer uou to door dash. , $ 53.00 dollars for 1 spaghetti And small pizza, (didn't get the extra one)Gondola takes mo responsibility...Door dash did make it right

One of the best experiences I have ever had!! My husband had heart bypass surgery and was at Redmond Hospital In-Patient rehab on Mothers day! Our kids wanted to spend mothers day with me and there is a dining room in the hospital for patients and family members so we ordered from Gondolias! It was a large order and our family is pretty high maintenance and likes to change and add to entries! Gondolias delivered our order to the dining room and waited to make sure everything was right !!everything except one salad and my daughter was was fine with it and let them know it was no problem !! Not only did he bring us the correct salad he brought us Brownies!!! Awesome service!!!!

My family and I visited Gondola (formally gondoliers) pizza often. Tonight may have been our last time. The food is and always has been very good! Large portions at a fair price. The service and restaurants cleanliness however is an ENTIRELY different story. They are always under staffed. The previous visit to this was lunch time. There were approximately 6 customers seated. We were the only ones waiting. We stood at the hostess sign for 15 minutes. The cashier saw us, the wait staff saw us. No one ever even addressed us. We left. This time we waited 30 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. When we were seated, the floor was gross and the smell coming from the bathroom was atrocious! After taking our order, we waited for another 30 minutes before we were informed there was "no cheese"...at an Italian restaurant. We left.

What a wonderful pizza place! Not only is the food delicious but the people working there are super nice! I highly recommend Gondola Pizza.

It's not a popular place, so when you go, the food is always hot and fresh and quick. And DELICIOUS!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND .

Love the prices. Portions are more than enough. Staff is friendly! What is not to love!!!! Some of the nicest people I have ever met!

Good food. Good atmosphere. Was in there for lunch. Was not that busy. Service was slow getting refill on drinks.

I enjoyed a lunch lasagna and salad and drink for $7.99.

The location has moved down Shorter Ave, and that almost kept me from trying the place out, but it was definitely worth the few minutes to find the place! The atmosphere is nice, the pizza is the best in town, the prices are good (all pizzas are buy one get one free!) the breadsticks are unbelievably good (freshly baked!) and the waitresses and owner are all incredibly nice. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I usually only go when my coworkers want to go. Service is always slow and salad does not seem to be fresh. Food is good, but not my first choice in picking a place to eat.

I ordered a chopped beefsteak with cheese and onion. I got a hamburger patty with onion and cheese. And no drink.

Average pizza a little less quality than cici's but the price is what got the low rating $26 for a large 2 topping pizza. We spent $51 for a large pizza with 2 toppings, order of wings and 2 kids meals..... with tip $61, just go ahead and turn right at the door and enjoy steak dinners for the same price at Longhorns!

Great pizza with awesome hospitality!

Tonight was the first time we have been to Gondola Pizza and a couple of years. I'm glad we decided to stop in tonight. We bought the two-for-one House Pizza medium size for about $20. I loved the crunchy crust around the pan Edge. The Parmesan bread and tomatoes are simply to die for. It wasn't exactly marinara sauce, it was more like crushed tomatoes. Delicious.

Also spelled Gondolier's Pizza--If your looking for something different while the family wants pizza this place has the BEST gyro sandwich in Rome very authentic right down to the cucumber sauce !

Had to repeat order several times and when we finally got the pizza there were items on it not asked for and what was asked for was not on pizza. Salad dishes were not picked up and we were never asked about a refill for our drinks. The waitress stayed at a table in the corner with her coworkers and never checked on us. Will not be going back again.

Great pizza decent service

Great place to eat. One of my favorites actually,but however the food use to be a little better than what it was the last time I eat there. But I guess it has a lot to do with who ever your cook is.

Not happy. 15 minutes after my order came to table they told us they were out of eggplant for my wife. By the time her re- order came to the table , my meal was completely eaten. We hoped to eat together.She ate half of her meal while I waited. We left the rest .. very dissatisfied. NO offer was made to pay for the error or even a next meal offered on the house. Nice people work there. Not profesionals. 2 or 3 stars

I ordered carryout calzone was okay but the wings was old and dry... I ordered them well done ..I'm a cook and I know the difference between well done and old chicken

The best Italian pizza

Have ate here a few times have enjoyed the meal. Spaghetti and the calories are good choices. The salads are fresh and crisp. Have had a good experience here so far give them a try.

I've always had great experiences here! We had Thanksgiving plans to travel and be with family but our car broke down so we needed another plan...thank God Gondola pizza was open!! We were able to have a family meal .

Excellent food! However, the front of house needs some reorganizing. The line was backed up out the door from people trying to pick up orders. Poor social distancing. Salads bagged with hot pasta so needed to be separated to prevent salad from wilting.

Pizza taste just like pizza hut..I should have gone there It would have been a lot cheaper and they are not sparse with the toppings.

I DID NOT had the best experience here. It was my Father and I first time. We order chicken tortellini Romano and a chicken Marsala, and potato soup. In the menu it sounded very good ( In reality in wasn’t). First, my soup was very thick and salty, the chicken tortellini Romano came with NO chicken and the chicken Marsala tasted awful. We told our waitress about the chicken and they took 15 more min to bring the chicken that the tortellini was missing. We had to call the manager. He change my plate for a chicken Alfredo, ( thinking it was going to be better ) worsted chicken Alfredo I ever had. It was tasteless with no flavor. Second, Our waitress took a very long time to bring refills and she barely checked on us. And paid $27. Not worth it.

Good food and nice staff. Wasn’t used to my Italian sub toasted but wasn’t bad.
